A Queenstown home has taken out this year’s Supreme Award in the Southern Registered Master Builders 2017 House of the Year competition.
Trinity QT Construction Limited won three regional awards for their Queenstown home, including the Southern Registered Master Builders 2017 Supreme House of the Year, a Gold Award and Category win for New Home over $2 million Award.
Judges called the winning home impressive, spanning across two stunning sections on Queenstown Hill with panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains.
The results of the regional competition were announced at a gala dinner on July 15.
There were 24 Gold Award winners from the Southern region for properties located in Queenstown, Dunedin, Wanaka, Arrowtown, Mosgiel, Cromwell, Invercargill, Gore, Winton and Te Anau which will now be judged against Gold Award winners from around the country to find the National Gold Reserve finalists.
National category winners and the Registered Master Builders Supreme Awards for House of the Year and Renovation of the Year will be announced on November 25 in Auckland.

The winning homes in Southland were among more than 370 homes nominated in the Registered Master Builders 2017 House of the Year Awards.
The competition showcases the best examples of quality craftsmanship and design.
